
Gap’s newest campaign (courtesy of akqa), Born to Fit is a powerful sign of the times. What would have been a few years ago a TV campaign is now squarely digital. Experts, pundits and amateur marketers alike should have plenty to dissect. With mobile being a centerpiece and more importantly audience participation this is a great example of a great integrated campaign which utilizes all our favourite social media destinations (twitter, iphone, youtube and facebook) in a great way.

In somewhat related news Trent Reznor announced on Twitter yesterday the submittion of a free IPhone app for approval. If all goes well the free app should be making its way to app store in a couple of weeks.
Not much info is available on what the app is for or will do. As soon as we find out, we’ll post an update to this post.

Apple has invited press and developer representative to an exclusive event in Cuppertino today. The topic will be what they have billed as IPhone OS 3.0 Software or their next major release. Many folks expect, copy and paste as well as an improved homepage. However things like tethering and MMS have not been confirmed. Here is hoping to see a preview of the next generation hardware as well.

Mafia R&R, the latest game from SGN is my latest addiction on the iphone. The gameplay is pretty straightforward. You start out as a soldier and as you complete jobs, fights and training, your experience and reputation grows. That simple formula gas has been the one used for many successful games both on the console and the desktop.
